Billy Dean

Billy Dean, age 72, of Newland, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his residence. Billy was born on March 20, 1951 in Mitchell County, North Carolina, a son of the late Clarence Albert Dean and the late Irma Hawks Dean. He retired from Feldspar Trucking after over 50 years of driving. Billy enjoyed his dogs and cleaning his vehicles, he always prided himself with the appearance of his 18 wheeler. He was preceded in death by his Father, Clarence Albert Dean; Mother, Irma Beatrice Dean; Sister, Bette Campbell. Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory wife of 32 years, Carol Dean; daughter, Megan Dean (Jared) King of Newland, NC; son, Billy (Jill) Dean of Indian Trail, NC; sister, Dottie (Claude Latham) Webster of Silver Springs, NV; brother, Eddie (Gail) Dean of Newland, NC; grandchildren, Gabe Dean, Maddie Dean, Peyton King and Millie King. Graveside services for Billy Dean will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 3:00 pm in the Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery.
