“So sorry to learn of Jim and Holly's passing! I was honored to have been Jim's friend since moving to Greensboro in 1977 and having the privilege to serve as a groomsman at his and Holly's wedding! Although we did not have regular contact over the years, the memory of our friendship and time with his family will always be among the fondest of my youth. RIP Jim and Holly. Prayers for strength to the families.”

I am so heartbroken to heart this ..
Jim was so wonderful to my little boy (adopted) & me when we were going though a hard time with the bio parents..
He always made sure we were safe & watched out for ....
My thoughts and prayers are with the family ..

Jim was a great friend in Junior and Senior High. His family always made me feel welcome in their home. Went on a vacation with him and his family to Myrtle Beach and our friendship survived two weeks together in that tent even after I didn't zip the tent up and it rained. Went on a double date in his big yellow boat of a car. Lots of laughs with the Serteens club at Grimsley Sr High.

I haven't slept well since I heard of this news. Jim was always good to me and I'll always remember the help he provided me during tough times. He made you laugh and my workplace still tells "Jim" stories. I hope Jim and Holly will rest in peace!
